Registration is now open for the December 22nd, 2023 7U/8U Jamboree, being hosted Arizona Amateur Hockey Association (AAHA).
It has been a huge success in the past, with over 140 players registered last year so don't wait to register it is anticipated it will fill up quickly.
Once registration is closed which is anticipated to be around Dec 8th, team assignments will be made and players notified. Team formed ramdomly selecting players and assigning them.
Assigning teams is a huge task, as I'm sure you can imagine with well over 125 players to assign. As soon as the assignments have been made the registrants will be notified of their assignments using the email address given in the registration.
Everyone should put Dec 22nd on their calendar and come out to see some really fun, exciting hockey. Players improve on their skating and hockey skills.
The Jamboree is being held at Ice Den - Scottsdale, Dec 22nd, 2023, and yes that is a Friday, this year.
There will be the need to check in so plan on being a few minutes early so as to take care of that, but otherwise the teams will have been selected so all that will be left to do is have some fun.
This is the schedule, subject to change with the number of players who actually registered is known:
Session 1 will be 9:45am to 10:45am
Session 2 will be 11:05am to 12:05pm
Session 3 will be 12:25pm to 1:25pm
Session 4 will be 1:45pm to 2:45pm
Session 5 will be 3:05pm to 4:05pm
There will be an ice clean before each Session.
These Jamboree's are designed to give players the opportunity to compete in a fun and friendly environment while enhancing the development of their skating and hockey skills.
Players will have been randomly placed on teams and participate in three (3), twenty (20) minute games in an hour. The games themselves will be 3 on 3, cross ice games.
Check back here as we get closer to the event, the Team Assignments and confirmed schedule will be posted below when available.
